How to Survive Nightfall House

Nightfall House kills new players in exactly two ways: they sprint through rooms like the floor is lava, or they hide in the first closet they see and stay there until it's too late. This guide fixes both instincts. Spoiler-light by design — key locations stay vague.

Manage your noise, not just your speed

Where to hide (general guidance)

Every marked ring in the house is a real hiding place: a wardrobe in the study, the space behind the sofa, the pantry in the kitchen corner, under the bed, and a cabinet at the end of the hallway. Three rules:

When to run vs. when to hide

Watch the vision cone on the floor. Amber means she is walking a route; brighter amber means something caught her interest; red means run now.

Finding the keys (no spoilers)

The attic, cellar, and garden keys each appear somewhere in their own wing of the house, and their exact positions shift a little each night. Clear rooms methodically, listen for her footsteps before entering a new one, and remember: the front door only opens once all three are in your pocket. Grabbing the last key while she's chasing you is a plan — just make sure you already know the way back to the foyer.
